This course is desinged as an intitial preparatory course in rodeo and rough stock events. Students will acquire basic knowledge in the individual events so they can compete effectively at NIRA-sponsored events. They will demonstrate safety procedures, mechanical consistency, event rules, and mental and physical preparation. Prerequisite: Instructor's permission required and current NIRA card or permit insurance. (1 lect., 2 lab)
