This course provides training on how to read and draw basic welding blueprints. This course will also provide training in the American Welding Society (AWS) standard welding symbols and how they are used and interpreted on a welding blueprint or shop drawing. Major topics include: Orthographic Views, Standard Drawing Lines, Dimension Lines, Introduction to the Reference Line and Arrow, the term Welding Symbol and WELD Symbol and Basic Math for welders and fitters.
