This course offers an introduction to the fundamental skills of cross-country skiing. The emphasis will be on how to properly dress for the winter environment, skiing technique, conditioning, safety, and equipment. The class has classroom and activity portions. Trips to ski areas will be incorporated and fees for ski rentals and trip expenses are additional for the student.
