Description:
Preservice students demonstrate emerging practical teaching skills and are assigned to an elementary school, junior or senior high school under the supervision of a classroom teacher. Students meet in a weekly seminar with the course instructor and work with the assigned cooperating teacher for a minimum of 30 hours. Prerequisite: Completion of EDFD 2020, EDST 2450 with a grade of C or better, a GPA of 2.5 or better. Successful completion (grade of C or better) or concurrent enrollment in EDFD 2100. In addition, students must have taken HLED 1221 (or current First Aid certification) and ITEC 1200.
