Description:

A course designed to provide students with the skills necessary to physically apply the principles of air brake and suspension systems. Students gain the ability to identify, assemble, adjust and repair hydraulic systems, air-over hydraulic systems, air brake systems, front suspension systems and rear suspension systems. This course also encompasses Department of Transportation approved procedures for vehicle highway safety regulations, preventative maintenance inspection, (PMI). Prerequisite: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in IST 1520.
