Students visit different early childhood programs in the region to discover how teachers create an environment that values the uniqueness of each child. Students examine curriculum, child-development, and ethics as they apply to the early childhood profession. (Note: This course requires 10 hours of observation in early childhood settings; students must provide their own transportation to the sites.)
