This course is designed to facilitate the exploration of the creative process on two levels. Students are encouraged to develop their own creative process while studying the methods and theories that support and encourage creative behaviors in classrooms for young children. Emphasis is placed on the development of teaching strategies that will ensure an integrated approach to creative thinking and expression, and will promote a climate conducive to creativity in preschool and early primary classrooms.
