Second semester nursing student's use the concepts of caring, competence, clinical judgment, coordination and commitment to make decisions and plan caring interventions. Students continue to build basic nursing care and communication skills. Emphasis is placed on knowledge of decision making used to individualize and evaluate client care. Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisites: Complete NRST1615-Nursing Theory I, NRST1715- Practicum I. Corequisite courses: NRST1725-Practicum II. Credits: 5 Lecture/Lab Hours 4 lect, 3 lab hrs/ week
