The primary goal of this course is to develop a qualitative understanding of and methods for clear communication about physical principles. The main domains of classical physics, namely mechanics, fluids, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and optics are covered. Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: Completion of DVST0930-Intermediate Algebra or MATH1000-Problem Solving with a grade of "C" or better, or placement into a higher level mathematics course. Credits: 4 Lecture/Lab Hours 3 lecture hrs and 3 lab hrs/week
