Students learn about the traditions and research techniques of various social science disciplines. Students acquire familiarity with library, Web-based, and other data collection methods, as well as rules of evidence and logical argumentation. Each student completes a research paper and presents the results in a multimedia format. Prerequisite: SOSC 1000 or consent of instructor and successful completion of at least 30 credit hours.(3 hrs lec) Capstone Course
