Provides the third-year electrical apprentice with necessary skills and knowledge to ensure safe and efficient work practices on the job. Topics include industrial and commercial services, alarm systems, hazardous locations, and applications of the National Electrical Code. Sixth course in a series of eight. Prerequisite: ELAP 1555, status as a third-year Electrical Apprentice with an Independent Electrical Contractor, and registration with the State of Wyoming Electrical Board of the Department of Fire Prevention and Electrical Safety as an apprentice electrician.
