This course is an introductory class in wheel-thrown ceramics. Students will learn the fundamentals of throwing on the potter's wheel and gain a broad understanding of the ceramics process. Exploration of 3-dimensional form, surface treatment, and firing kilns are integral elements to the class. ART-2410 Ceramics I - Handbuilding is not a prerequisite for this course.(2 hrs lec, 4 hrs lab)
