NRST 1970 Practical Nursing Roles and Practicum (.5L,7.5LB,3CR) TThe focus is on the he role of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). It includes an exploration of the role and scope of practice of the LPN. Emphasis will be placed on the practicum and clinical skills. At the conclusion of this course, students will be eligible to apply for licensure as an LPN. Students are encourage to continue their ADN education with the last two semesters following this course. Prerequisite: NRST 1625, NRST 1630.
