CRMJ 2280 Criminal Procedure (3L,3CR) This course will familiarize the student with the State of Wyoming and federal criminal process. The fourth, fifth, sixth, and fourteenth amendments to the United States Constitution will be emphasized, along with applicable Supreme Court cases. The laws of arrest, search, seizure, pretrial identification procedures and confessions will be studied. An overview of the criminal court system as it relates to individual rights protected under the Constitution and key Supreme Court holdings will be taught. Meets in the Fall only.
