EDEC 1100 Observation and Guidance of Young Children (2L,2CR) Effective methods of observation and guidance to meet the children's needs individually and in groups with an emphasis on promoting a positive and constructive climate in the early childhood setting. Topics include assessments, recording behaviors, planning environments, materials and equipment, scheduling, discipline and parent-teacher communication.
