ENGL 2140 World Literature I (3L,3CR) [E]Exploring literature from a wide array of time periods and language backgrounds, this course examines great works of world literature, ancient and modern. This course also engages themes as explored through various time periods, cultures, and visual genres like cinema and the visual arts. Through discussion and analysis, this course explores the diverse ways that cultures attempt to express themselves through written and artistic expression. Prerequisite: ENGL 1010.
