CCNA I Intro to Networks (3L,3CR) Students build simple LAN's, perform basic configurations for routers and switches, and implement IP addressing schemes. Students develop skills necessary to plan and design the architecture, structure, functions, component, and models of the Internet and computer networks. Students implement the principles of IP addressing and fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations are introduced to provide a foundation for the curriculum. This is the first of three courses needed to prepare for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
