FIRE 2530 Hazardous Materials (3L,3CR): This course involves the application of NFPA 472 and OSHA's HAZWOPER Standard (29 CFR 1910.120) towards student involvement in hazardous materials emergency response. In order to pass this course each student must pass both state tests (Awareness and Operations). However, passing both state certified exams does not guarantee a passing grade in the class. Prerequisite: General understanding of emergency response.
