Integrates cellular and whole-animal metabolism through introduction to metabolic regulation. Introduces students to the nomenclature, structures and functions of cellular metabolites and vitamins. Knowledge of chemical structure are applied to cellular reactions in various tissues of domestic animals. Ruminants and non-ruminants are contrasted. Prerequisite: CHEM 1000.
