Internship allows students to gain hands-on experience, bridging the gap between anthropology as an academic discipline and anthropology as practiced in museums, public archaeology agencies, non-governmental organizations, and private consulting companies. Each internship will involve a required academic component in addition to work experience. Internship credit cannot fulfill requirements of the major. Prerequisites: anthropology major of junior/senior standing and consent of internship director and/or department head.
