Investigates the physical processes by which water transports and deposits sediment to generate landforms ranging in scale from hillslope rills to continental drainage systems. Emphasizes surface water hydrology, erosion, sedimentation, channel morphology, and the influences of climate change and human activities on fluvial systems. Dual listed with GEOG 5450.
