Application of modern computer-based analysis and design methods. Drilling equipment analysis, casing design, measurements of physical and chemical properties of drilling fluids explored in lab sessions. Prerequisite: C in ES 2330 Fluid Dynamics and D in PETE 2070 Geology and Geophysics for Petroleum Engineers.
