Analysis and design of electrical systems in buildings using the National Electrical Code. The topics include panel boards, motors, system sizing, electrical distribution in buildings, methodology of reducing the available short circuit current, transformers, capacitors in buildings, and power systems harmonics. Students will perform an electrical building design project. Prerequisite: ARE 3300.
