A study of the systems that a transportation agency may utilize to manage the pavement in their road network. History and purpose of pavement management are studied as well as hot to make objective pavement management decisions. The distinction between project-level and network-level management concerns is explored and the implementation of a pavement management system is studied. Finally, methods for utilizing the information from the management system is studied. Prerequisite: CE 3500.
