Provide students with an understanding of components of a balanced assessment system in school health education. Students will review the basics of standards-based health education and explore inovations in asessment that provide teachers and students with a more complete and authentic picture of student learning.Prerequisites: HLED 2006, HLED 4110, or certified teacher with experience teaching health in schools; undergraduates must be concurrently enrollment in KIN 4099, Student Teaching; certified teachers must have access to K-12 students.
