First semester of a three semester practicum course in psychological assessment at the doctoral level. During the semesters, extensive examination is made regarding the standardization, relevant application, and significant limitations of assessment techniques. A thorough grounding is interpretation, and communication of the results of psychological evaluation both in writing and in consultation with referral sources. Normally taken during the first year of the doctoral program. Prerequisite: restricted to doctoral students in clinical psychology.
