The course explores literature and media (films, comics, music, etc.) and develops students' critical writing, digital interpretation, and oral communication skills. We will discuss the relationship between form and content and students will learn to perform close readings of print- based and digital texts for both historic context and cultural significance. Prerequisite: COM 1. COM 1 may not be taken concurrently.
