PTEP 2500 Introduction to Paramedic Technology (7L,3LB,8CR): This course covers the preparatory, airway management and ventilation, and patient assessment sections of the EMT - Paramedic National Standard Curriculum. Students will participate in classroom lecture and discussion as well as practical lab exercises designed to prepare the student to provide emergency care to those in need. Prerequisite: Students must apply for entrance, and be accepted into the paramedic technology program prior to enrollment. Instructor permission.
