Description:

Piano Ensemble provides individualized piano instruction using multi-piano literature, including duets, piano concertos, and duo-piano compositions. Through the study of different periods, and styles of music, students learn music theory, piano technique, and the cultural/historical context of piano literature. Students evaluate their skills through required video recording of lessons, studio class and recital performances. Students should practice a minimum of 4 hours/week. A maximum of four credits are applicable towards graduation. An audition will be required for placement purposes only. (2 lab) ARTS
