The course material combines theory, research and practical applications from developmental psychology. Lecture topics include prenatal and birth factors; genetic influences on development; physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and cultural variables which influence development in infancy, childhood, adolescence, early-, middle-, and late adulthood. 3 hours lecture.
