Students examine the advantages, disadvantages, sources and costs of consumer credit. Students learn how to develop a plan to protect their credit and manage their debts. Students learn the basics of selecting and financing different housing options. Students learn the importance of risk management and how to manage that risk with insurance, including life, disability, health care, and property insurance. Prerequisite: Completion of ENGL 0810 or equivalent placement test score.
