Building Automation Systems (BAS) Networking introduces the fundamentals of data transmission. The course is closely aligned with Cisco Systems Certification and assists students in their preparation for that credential. Topics covered are network fundamentals, standard, OSI model, IP protocol, network signal transmission, media, protocols, physical topologies, hardware, typical BAS networks and typical BAS subnetworks. Prerequisite: Completion of IST 1712.
