Description:
This course will help prepare the student to help, deal with, and cope when emergency care is needed. This course is an in-depth look at how and what you need to do in case of an emergency; whether it be medical or trauma. The student will learn how to assist and care for a patient before medical assistance is available. Current American Heart Association materials are used for CPR and AED. On successful completion of this course, students will receive an American Heart Associaion CPR card, and may be eligible for apply to the Wyoming Office of Emergency Medical Services to test for the Emergency Medical Responders card, following all state guidelines and requirements.
