This course is an introduction to Avid's Pro Tools digital audio workstation software application. Basic Pro Tools principles, including how to complete a Pro Tools project from initial set up to final mixdown are covered. Topics also include how to record, edit, and mix music and Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) tracks within the Pro Tools application. This course is the first in a series of courses leading to multiple Avid Pro Tools certifications. (1.5 hrs lec)
