Students develop necessary skills and knowledge in the principles of technology as applied to the scientific concepts and laws of force, work, rate, resistance, energy,and power. Students gain an understanding and working knowledge of these principles through practical application experiences. The course is specifically designed for students, both science and nonscience majors, who plan to pursue careers as technicians. Cross-listed with PHYS 1080. Prerequisite: Completion of MATH 0980 or equivalent placement test score.
