This course is designed to teach students with previous rock climbing experience more advanced skills. Emphasis is placed on operating a safe climbing experience. the course teaches and builds on skills such as placing artificial protection, building anchors, improvised rescues and introduces the skills needed for lead climbing on bolts. Prerequisite OEAC 1287 or instructor consent. (1.5 lec,1 hr lab)
