Description:
Chamber Ensemble is a performance-oriented course designed to study and rehearse/ perform chamber music literature encompassing the Renaissance through Contemporary periods. Through the study of different periods and styles of music, students learn music theory, instrumental or vocal technique, and the cultural /historical context of chamber music. Students evaluate their skills through required video recordings of performances. Students should practice a minimum of four hours/week. An audition will be required for placement purposes only. (2 lab) ARTS
