ASTR 1100 Planets Around Stars (4L,4CR) A survey of the planets and moons of our solar system; the physical laws governing their motions; the theory of their formation and evolution to the present time. Includes comparative studies of the interiors, surfaces, and atmospheres of the planets, and comparison of our solar system to recently discovered extra-solar planets. Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or better in MATH 0920. ASTR 1000 recommended.
