This course studies human communication processes within the context of various cultures and subcultures. It includes the study of the complex relationship between culture and communication in a variety of interpersonal, group, organizational, and computer-mediated settings. Application of theory and research to development of the knowledge, attitudes, and skills associated with intercultural communication competence. Prerequisite: Must be admitted to the BAS program.
