Description:
This introductory graphic design course encourages conceptual thinking and problem solving. Emphasis is placed on application of design principles, understanding and evaluating information, learning the value of research, the appropriate materials, tools, and techniques needed to show effective idea development. Through hands-on participation in the design process, students will enhance their conceptual thinking and visual skills necessary for eventual participation in the design profession. Prerequisite: ART 1510. (2 hrs lec, 4 hrs lab)
