Introduces students to particle technology (solids-handling) including particle rate processes, fundamentals of particle transport, mathematics of particle systems, particle properties and characterization and processing operations. This course consists of three hours of lecture and one hour of laboratory per week and an introduction to ASPEN modeling of solids handling. Prerequisite: C or better in MATH 2205.
