The goals addressing the science are: Solve Problems, Retrieve Information, and Apply Therapeutic Nursing Interventions. Clinically, students receive direction from nursing faculty. Nursing theory as well as laboratory and clinical experiences provide the opportunity to apply the goals, with emphasis on the role and scope of practice of the practical nurse.
