This course will focus on the discipline of dance, but will also introduce students to key intellectual and literary skills required in academia, including, but not limited to: critical thinking and analysis, knowledge of the discipline, career options, major concerns, ability to reflect and evaluate, and an introduction to the diversity of the discipline in the region and beyond.

In class the student will learn and train in a key area of technical production to prepare them for the performance.
