Students study the core concepts necessary to work with all PV systems, including system components, site analysis, PV module specifications, mounting systems, electrical energy audits/assessments, safety, and commissioning. This course also covers the basics of residential grid-direct PV system sizing including wire sizing, over-current protection, and National Electrical Code (NEC) compliant grounding.
