This course is designed to provide the students with the ability to operate a variety of office machines, which may include electronic calculators, transcription machines, and multi-line telephone systems in a business office setting. Customer service will be emphasized, addressing such topics as preventing and solving problems, listening and communication skills; professional appearance and attitude. Also included is a review of grammar and punctuation. The course will be a combination of lecture and application exercises. Topics vary by semester. 2 hours lecture, 2 hours lab.
