Survey of ocean processes, including the major sub disciplines of physical, geological, chemical, and biological oceanography. Studies the form of the world ocean; composition and chemistry of seawater; circulation, currents, waves and tides; nutrients and organisms; estuaries and coastal processes; origin and distribution of deep-sea sediments; and impacts of human activities. Prerequisites: GEOL 1005, 1100, 1200, 1500 or ENR 1500; MATH 1405 or 1450.
